Description

Manage the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of enterprise database systems across on-premises and cloud environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, deploy, and configure database systems across physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructures.
• Perform performance evaluation, tuning, and capacity planning to mitigate system risks.
• Coordinate with business partners and application owners for environment maintenance and upgrades.
• Document system configurations and organizational processes to maintain technical standards.
• Provide on-call support for database environments as needed.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise in SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• Experience managing Windows-based environments.
• Knowledge of Azure or other cloud database solutions and deployment phases.
• Ability to handle system DBA tasks including database maintenance.
• Experience with Oracle or Unix environments.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
