Description

Manage the full lifecycle of database systems, from installation and configuration to maintenance, security, and disaster recovery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure database servers per organizational requirements.
• Perform regular maintenance, apply patches, and upgrade software for optimal performance.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve speed.
• Implement security measures, including access controls and authentication.
• Establish and execute backup and recovery plans to ensure business continuity.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional database administration experience.
• Expertise with MS SQL Server.
• Proficiency with MySQL.
• Experience managing AWS RDS.
• Strong knowledge of data integrity assurance.
• Ability to manage user accounts and permissions.
• Experience with capacity planning for data growth.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree required.
