Description

You will provide enterprise-wide support for business-critical production and non-production databases.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and upgrade SQL Servers, including applying service packs.
• Perform routine maintenance by rebuilding indexes, updating statistics, and running consistency checks.
• Manage SQL Server security, auditing, authentication methods, and encryption at rest, transit, and backup.
• Execute capacity planning for storage, disk space, and Windows Failover Cluster Service (WFSC).
• Develop backup standards and recovery procedures to meet RPO and RTO requirements.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in SQL Server 2016 (or later) database administration.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server native tools including Profiler, Index Tuning Advisor, and Configuration Manager.
• Proficiency with Extended Events, Performance Monitor, and Dynamic Management Views (DMVs).
• Experience managing SQL Server Broker Service, Linked Servers, and MSDTC.
• Expertise in SQL Server system databases, Database Mail, and health check policies.
• Knowledge of user security, database roles, and auditing protocols.
• Ability to schedule and manage SQL Server jobs for automated maintenance.
