Description

You will manage SQL Server database administration, performance tuning, and high availability infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage installation, upgrades, and maintenance of SQL Server using Profiler and Extended Events.
• Design and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
• Implement and monitor high availability solutions including Mirroring and Always On.
• Develop and optimize T-SQL code for performance tuning.
• Administer Windows Server configurations, including failover cluster setup and PowerShell scripting.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience with SQL Server 2016 or later.
• Expertise in T-SQL coding and performance tuning.
• 4+ years of experience with Windows Server Administration.
• Experience with SQL Server security, auditing, and encryption.
• Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting.
• Working knowledge of Security Standards.
• Experience setting up Failover Cluster.
• Familiarity with .NET Framework components.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FAST GenTax/DS-VS architecture.
• Knowledge of security standards (PUB1075, FIPS, PII).
