Description

You will own the administration, maintenance, and optimization of SQL Server environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and patch SQL Server instances, including service packs.
• Execute routine database maintenance, backups, and recovery procedures, including disaster recovery testing.
• Manage SQL Server security, auditing, and capacity planning for storage and database objects.
• Develop, tune, and maintain T-SQL code and ETL methodologies.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in SQL Server 2016 or later database administration.
• Proficiency in T-SQL coding, tuning, and ETL methodologies.
• 4+ years of experience with Windows Server Administration, including building and maintaining Host/Guest Servers.
• Experience managing SQL Server High Availability methods.
• Experience with Application Server, Web Server, and File Server configuration and maintenance.
• Proficiency utilizing PowerShell for administration tasks.
• Experience with Windows Failover Cluster configuration and maintenance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FAST GenTax/DS-VS architecture and application maintenance.
• Familiarity with industry security standards (PUB1075, FIPS, and PII).
