Description

You will manage and maintain MS SQL Server environments in a 24x7 production setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance tuning and optimization using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Configure and troubleshoot transactional replication, resolving replication issues as they arise.
• Manage backups, restores, recovery models, and access provisioning.
• Implement and maintain High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server.
• Provide L1 Oracle DBA support as required.

Required Skills

• 5 to 7 years of MS SQL Server Administration experience.
• Proficiency with MS SQL Database and SQL.
• Experience with Oracle Database and PostgreSQL Administration.
• Knowledge of L1 Oracle DBA support tasks.
• Experience working with Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Ability to organize and plan work independently in a rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to multitask and context switch effectively between different teams.
• Willingness to work in a 24x7 environment.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate.
