Description

You will own the end-to-end development and maintenance of SQL-based data structures and reporting software.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain complex SQL statements, tables, and views to drive PowerBI visualizations.
• Develop and generate SQL tables using dbt according to established procedures and standards.
• Facilitate SQL design sessions and code walk-throughs to ensure adherence to development standards.
• Establish technical requirements for reporting software, including unit test plans and test cases.
• Debug and test reports based on user requirements and subject matter expert feedback.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in SQL development.
• Expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL statements.
• Proficiency with Snowflake.
• Experience using dbt for SQL table generation and development.
• Proficiency with Git, pull requests, and version control workflows.
• Experience using Visual Studio Code.
• Ability to conduct unit testing and assist in user testing for complex SQL modifications.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of PowerBI for report debugging and validation.
