Description

You will manage and support SQL Server environments in a 24x7 production setting, owning the full lifecycle from installation to performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Manage support queues and resolve incidents to meet established SLAs.
• Execute database setups, installations, migrations, and patch management.
• Perform query optimization and tuning using SQL Profiler to manage data growth.
• Provide code reviews and tuning feedback to development teams.
• Mentor developers on database best practices and design guidelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in 24x7 database support and SLA management.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Reporting Services and Business Objects.
• 5+ years of experience in database design, including logical and physical design for data warehousing.
• 5+ years of experience with database installations, upgrades, and migrations.
• 5+ years of experience in SQL performance tuning, indexing strategy, and monitoring.
• 5+ years of experience with SDLC and systems analysis procedures.
• 5+ years of experience documenting technical architecture and solutions for peer groups.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate certification.
