Description

You will manage, maintain, and optimize the SQL Server environment to support application teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support application teams by troubleshooting issues and performance-tuning databases.
• Install, upgrade, and configure Always On availability groups and deploy complex database software.
• Develop and implement database recovery plans and standard operating procedures.
• Analyze database performance metrics and recommend necessary tuning or application changes.
• Script batch data loads and automate operational jobs for efficiency.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience supporting operating systems, database management systems, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server databases across Production, Test, and Development environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint farm support.
• Experience implementing user authentication and validating database security protocols.
• Ability to review system design and develop new database systems.
• Familiarity with Cohesity Backup Appliance.
• Working knowledge of cloud technology and governance.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
