Description

You will manage the installation, maintenance, and integrity of enterprise database management systems across on-premises and cloud environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Install, deploy, and configure database systems on physical, virtual, and cloud infrastructure.
• Perform performance evaluation, tuning, and capacity planning to mitigate environment risks.
• Coordinate with business partners and application owners for maintenance, upgrades, and capacity planning.
• Document system configurations and organizational processes.
• Provide on-call support as required.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of overall IT experience.
• Extensive experience with SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• Proven track record in system administration and database maintenance.
• Experience with Azure or other cloud database solutions and deployment phases.
• Working knowledge of Oracle and Unix environments.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to support both non-product and product-specific environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure database solutions.
