Description

You will act as a Functional and Application DBA supporting a global unit within the banking sector. Provide Level 3 support for large-scale enterprise application setups across multiple data centers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain database environments with sizes of 30TB or more.
• Execute database administration tasks including implementation, code deployments, backups, and user account management.
• Administer advanced platform features such as clustering, encryption, logical/physical standby, ETL, and replication.
• Optimize server database performance and tune SQL code.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
• 10+ years of experience in general database administration tasks.
• 5+ years of experience managing multiple databases and resolving SQL development issues.
• 5+ years of experience administering clustering, encryption, standby, ETL, and replication.
• Proficiency with MS SQL Server 2014 through 2019.
• Experience with SSIS package creation and debugging.
• Expertise in stored procedure development and tuning.
• Exposure to data replication.
• Minimum 4 years of recent banking experience (since 2017).
• 8+ years of experience working for US companies in the US.
