Description

Lead the transformation of IT operations toward an engineering-centric approach by designing and implementing SRE solutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Drive the evolution of IT operations by implementing SRE parameters, key metrics, and transformation steps.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure application resiliency and operational reliability.
• Implement monitoring systems to assess application and infrastructure performance and identify optimization areas.
• Manage incident and problem management processes, including conducting post-mortems to prevent recurrence.
• Lead SRE deliverables using Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies within large-scale production environments.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of hands-on SRE experience with cloud technologies, development, and automation toolsets.
• Strong AWS experience including Control Tower, Project Setup, Account Creation, RDS, and SSO.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Terraform (including state management) and GitLab CI/CD setup.
• Strong Linux command line skills.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting using Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, or ELK.
• Hands-on experience with APM tools such as Datadog, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace.
• Proficiency in Groovy-DSL, Java, Python, Yaml, Oracle, and MySQL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience transitioning traditional support models to SRE frameworks.
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes and ticket management in large-scale production.
