Description

You will manage and automate the reliability, observability, and infrastructure of our distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Build tooling to implement and support monitoring, observability, alerting, and logging systems.
• Design and deploy automated processes and infrastructure using Ansible playbooks and API monitoring tools.
• Monitor performance metrics to proactively identify optimization and efficiency opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative solutions.
• Document workflows, procedures, and validate runbooks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SRE or operations roles.
• Proficiency in shell scripting including bash or zsh.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Java, Perl, C, or C++.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, Puppet, Terraform/Terragrunt, or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix fundamentals and networking concepts.
• Experience with containerization using Docker or Podman.
• Understanding of container orchestration via Kubernetes or Apache Mesos.
• Knowledge of SRE principles including error budgets, fault analysis, and automation.
• Familiarity with security principles, encryption, and key exchange protocols.

• Any Graduate degree.
