Description

You will manage and automate the reliability, observability, and infrastructure of distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build tooling for monitoring, observability, alerting, and logging systems.
• Design and deploy automated processes using Ansible playbooks and API monitoring tools.
• Monitor performance metrics to identify optimization and efficiency opportunities.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative solutions.
• Document workflows and validate runbooks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in SRE or operations roles.
• Proficiency in shell scripting (bash or zsh).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, Java, Perl, C, or C++.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform/Terragrunt, or CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix fundamentals and networking concepts.
• Experience with containerization (Docker or Podman).
• Understanding of container orchestration via Kubernetes or Apache Mesos.
• Knowledge of SRE principles including error budgets and fault analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Graduate degree.
