Description

You will own system reliability, scalability, and the automation of infrastructure operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system health and implement automated strategies to detect, address, and troubleshoot issues.
• Mitigate operational risks by collaborating with development teams to perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, including gatekeeping production deployments and developing GIT branching strategies.
• Minimize MTTR by performing fault analysis and writing detailed post-mortems.
• Automate manual processes and optimize infrastructure on AWS to solve performance and scalability issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Deep understanding of SRE principles, including monitoring, alerting, error budgets, and fault analysis.
• Experience managing services running on Kubernetes and scaling loads on AWS.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, specifically Java or Python.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Apache Splunk.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating system principles, networking fundamentals, and systems management.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, branch protection rules, and network policies.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with databases such as Vertica or Snowflake.
• Experience with Apache Flink.
