Description

You will design and develop a large multi-level system to ETL data from external OLAP databases to internal systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain SSIS packages and projects using Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Extract data from diverse sources including databases, spreadsheets, flat files, and APIs.
• Develop and manage database stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Contribute to data warehouse architecture design to support storage, retrieval, and analysis.
• Optimize query performance through index creation and troubleshoot report issues using Crystal Reports.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in computer software development.
• 7 years of ETL experience creating SQL Server SSIS objects.
• 7 years of SQL Server programming, including views, stored procedures, and functions.
• 5 years of experience with Data Warehousing.
• 5 years of experience with OLAP (On-line Analytical Processing).
• Proficiency with APIs and Crystal Reports.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Schenectady, NY.
