Description

Design, build, and maintain large-scale HPC storage and compute environments to support business growth. Optimize performance, scalability, and capacity across high-performance storage systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement new storage solutions from scratch or integrate existing products across block, object, and NFS protocols.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes using Chef, Ansible, and Python.
• Support hybrid storage architectures spanning on-premises and cloud (AWS, GCP) environments.
• Implement observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK stack) to monitor and tune storage performance.
• Troubleshoot complex performance and integration issues across hardware, OS, and distributed systems layers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in infrastructure engineering with a focus on distributed storage systems in a Linux environment.
• Deep expertise in multi-protocol storage platforms such as Weka, Fast, GPFS, or Vast.
• Strong Python scripting skills for automation, monitoring, and performance benchmarking.
• Hands-on experience with parallel file systems (GPFS, Lustre, Ceph) and petabyte-scale storage management.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools: Chef, Ansible.
• Solid understanding of Linux internals, networking, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP).
• Experience implementing observability stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and ELK.
• Familiarity with containers, hypervisors, CI/CD, and version control practices.
