Description

You will design code and systems that touch 40% of the world population while influencing internal standards for scalability, security, and reusability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure microservices architecture for global payment processing systems.
• Develop and maintain applications using Golang or Java, adhering to clean code and best software engineering practices.
• Use Terraform to provision, maintain, and evolve AWS infrastructure for high-volume transaction processing.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system robustness for payment systems.
• Monitor application health and performance using observability tools, including metrics, logs, and alerts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant work experience, or 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• 3+ years proficiency in Golang.
• Experience with Golang, AWS, Java, Microservices, Terraform, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, S3, and EventBridge.
• Ability to develop robust and scalable products for end-user merchants, B2B, and government solutions.
• Experience in designing and creating design artifacts through cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests.
• Experience with relational and non-relational database design.

Preferred Skills

• Groovy, JVM-related technologies, Jenkins, CodeFresh, ArgoCD, Artifactory, Git.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology, Test-Driven Development, distributed transactions, and race conditions.
• Experience in the Financial Industry or Payments/Authorization Systems.
