Description

You will build and maintain scalable web applications using the Symfony framework, owning backend solutions, secure RESTful APIs, and system architecture.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend solutions and secure RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, reusable code and perform code reviews to mentor junior developers.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Ensure software quality through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and document technical specifications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in PHP and Symfony development.
• In-depth knowledge of Symfony components, bundles, and dependency injection.
• Strong proficiency in modern PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Expertise in MySQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Extensive experience with RESTful API design and integration.
• Proficiency with Git, including branching strategies and pull request workflows.
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for frontend integration.
• Experience with PHPUnit or similar testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of Ibexa Platform customization, templating, and content modeling.

Preferred Skills

• Symfony Certified Developer certification.
• Exposure to headless CMS and third-party system integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
