Description

You will manage server, network, and container operations in a hybrid cloud environment, serving as the primary technical escalation point for the team.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, configure, and secure production Linux and Windows servers through patching, provisioning, and package installation.
• Write and maintain custom scripts to facilitate integration between internal and external systems.
• Manage centralized configuration and automated patching across server environments using automation tools.
• Provide mentoring and serve as the technical escalation point for the Systems Administration team.
• Identify and implement new technologies to support business growth and infrastructure objectives.

Required Skills

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Systems Administrator.
• In-depth understanding of Linux and Windows system administration.
• Minimum 1 year of experience troubleshooting Linux/Unix in a production environment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with Windows and Active Directory.
• Proficiency in a Bourne-compatible shell.
• Skilled in at least one scripting language: PowerShell, PHP, Python, or Perl.
• Knowledge of centralized configuration management using Salt, Chef, or Puppet.
• Working knowledge of log aggregation technologies such as Rsyslog, Logstash, or Splunk.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with container creation and management.
• Experience with cloud management or migration.
• Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, RHCA) or SaltStack Enterprise Administration.
