Description

You design and drive the technical vision for complex, large-scale systems, focusing on migrations from Mainframe/TPF to modern Event-Driven Architectures.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and execute migrations from Mainframe/TPF environments to modern Event-Driven Architectures (EDA).
• Design and implement core systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Own the integration strategy across Kafka/Kinesis and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Apply architectural standards using TOGAF and BizBok principles.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of IT experience, with 10+ years focused on System Architecture.
• Expert knowledge of Rail Transportation or large-scale logistics domains.
• Expert proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and Kinesis.
• Proficiency with AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• 5+ years of experience with SAFe framework application.
• Working knowledge of TOGAF and BizBok.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with legacy system decomposition and modernization patterns.
• Background in high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems.
