Description

You will lead system-level product development and integration within the medical device lifecycle, from concept through launch.

Responsibilities

• Lead system and product-level feasibility and risk assessments.
• Coordinate system-level product development and cross-functional integration.
• Resolve system behavior issues for on-market products.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts and apply DFSS best practices across all projects.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing to resolve in-market and product development issues.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Strong technical background in Systems Engineering or medical device development.
• Experience with requirements management and system architectural planning and design.
• Proficiency in systems integration and testing.
• Knowledge of Reliability Engineering and Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Experience with Project Management and DFSS or statistical test design and analysis.
• Ability to lead multi-discipline engineering teams and communicate with cross-functional departments including Software, Test, and Quality Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Post graduate degree.
• Understanding of Basic Safety and EMC Standards (60601-1, 61010-1, 60601-1-2).
• Knowledge of ISO 15223-1, ISO 20417, SAP Quality Management Systems, and Team Foundation Server.
