Description

You will manage and optimize physical and virtual infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure using Dell servers, NetApp storage, Nutanix clusters, and Client vSphere.
• Develop automation scripts and utilize IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible for provisioning and configuration.
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems using Datadog to proactively resolve performance issues.
• Maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions while performing routine patching and hardware maintenance.
• Collaborate with security teams to remediate 0-day issues and ensure compliance with infrastructure standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Nutanix clusters.
• Proficiency with NetApp storage arrays.
• Experience managing Client vSphere and ESXi environments.
• Direct experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience using Ansible for configuration management.
• Monitoring expertise with Datadog.
• Ability to participate in 24/7 on-call rotations for critical system support.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
