This role requires you to handle network modernization, design, and implementation tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and solution network designs to support M&A activities.
- Discover and document existing network infrastructure, including equipment, ports, and connectivity.
- Establish detailed network designs aligned with standards based on discovery documentation.
- Rack, configure, and deploy equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls, per approved design.
- Cutover sites to new infrastructure and provide necessary cutover support.
- Configure, support, and monitor network segmentation solutions for all attached devices.
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for application performance and congestion.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of experience supporting network modernization and M&A integration.
- Expert knowledge designing, configuring, and maintaining Cisco switching platforms (Catalyst 9k, 39xx, 38xx, 29xx).
- Experience designing and maintaining network security appliances (Palo Alto Firewalls, IPS/IDS, IPsec, SSL VPN).
- Proficiency with routing protocols, including OSPF, BGP, IGRP, and RPVST+.
- Experience designing and provisioning WAN topologies (MPLS, VPLS/EVC, DIA, DWDM).
- Technical knowledge of Cisco and Juniper wireless technologies (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
- Experience configuring and maintaining IPAM, DNS, DHCP, and Certificate Authority services.
- Working knowledge of network monitoring protocols (SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog) and packet capture analysis.
- Bachelor's degree required.
