Description

Lead firmware verification and validation testing for electric vehicle chargers, hardware modules, and application software.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Conduct firmware verification and validation testing for EV chargers, hardware, and software.
• Create comprehensive test plans and procedures for new products and software updates.
• Provide detailed documentation, debug information, and reproduction steps for unexpected device behavior.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to identify issues and initiate corrective actions.
• Automate tests and supervise lab activities to optimize quality control.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in system test, validation, or a similar role.
• Proven experience implementing software verification, validation processes, and automation techniques.
• Proficiency in Linux testing environments and standard command line utilities.
• Strong command of Python and shell scripting.
• Experience writing test and validation code within Linux environments.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of C/C++.
• Experience with C#.
