Description

Design, program, and implement SCADA systems while providing operational support for existing infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new SCADA systems and integrate emerging automation technologies for gas industry operations.
• Troubleshoot SCADA software and server issues to maintain system stability.
• Configure, test, and troubleshoot data polling from the SCADA system to field RTUs in coordination with Field Technicians.
• Develop HMI displays, implement Realtime Databases, and manage Historical Database data interfaces and reports.
• Program wireless modems, including Sierra Wireless and Digi, and document all system changes through required approval workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration or related utility operations.
• In-depth knowledge of AVEVA Enterprise SCADA (formerly OASyS DNA) baseline platform.
• Expertise in SCADA system operations, including Gas Measurement Metering and HMI development.
• Proficiency with RTU/PLC protocols including Modbus, DNP3, and BSAp.
• Experience implementing Realtime Databases and managing Historical Database interfaces.
• Degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to write and modify scripts and SQL queries.
• Experience in regulated operating environments and control room operations.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and IT technology.
