Description

You will support legacy modernization through server administration and systems optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Administer Unix and Windows servers, including OS builds, hardening, and configurations.
  • Develop scripts and troubleshoot system issues to support business needs.
  • Write technical and user documentation for project workflows and processes.
  • Manage change management workflows and participate in regular technical work sessions.
  • Collaborate with ITS staff, Data Center Services, and vendors in a virtual environment.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in systems analysis or server administration.
  • Experience with Unix and Windows server administration.
  • Proficiency in OS builds, hardening, and system configuration.
  • Strong knowledge of remote virtual servers.
  • Hands-on experience in Azure cloud environments.
  • Ability to work with MS SQL or Oracle database backends.
  • Experience with scripting for system tasks.
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills.
  • Degree or any graduate level education.
