Description

You will support enhancements and new capabilities for a critical, mainframe-based business application within the Claims space.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems analysis to build a backlog of requirements for developers.
• Review requirements, designs, and code to ensure technical accuracy.
• Plan SIT and UAT testing cycles and manage application releases across environments.
• Develop logical and physical designs following Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, and QA teams to deliver project objectives.

Required Skills

• Mainframe application development and configuration.
• Source code management using Endevor.
• Experience managing code deployments across Test, Cycle, and Production environments.
• Systems analysis and requirements gathering expertise.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum.
• Experience with integration testing across various applications.
• Proficiency with Hive, SQL, Azure, and Hadoop.
• Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of IT experience (or equivalent certification/experience).

Preferred Skills

• Deep application development experience on the mainframe side.
• Knowledge of Claims processing and Claims application components.
• Experience mentoring developers and managing concurrent projects.
