Description

You will support and maintain 24x7 Energy Management Systems (EMS) across two control centers.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain the reliability of EMS applications, including state estimator, contingency analysis, power flow, and power system modeling.
• Troubleshoot and resolve EMS system issues to support real-time operations.
• Configure, test, and implement custom EMS enhancements and new software releases.
• Lead technical evaluations of contractor software application proposals.
• Develop documentation for diverse users and provide operational support, integration testing, and user training.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in systems analysis or related energy management roles.
• Experience updating and monitoring power system modeling, state estimators, and contingency analysis.
• Intermediate Linux experience, including proficiency with command-line operations.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot, configure, and test complex systems.
• Strong ability to plan, organize, and lead meetings or presentations for management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for technical documentation and user training.
• Ability to multitask and shift priorities based on business needs.
