Description

Design, program, and implement SCADA systems to support safe pipeline operations for Gas Control.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SCADA systems using AVEVA Enterprise SCADA baseline platforms and develop HMI displays.
• Configure, test, and troubleshoot data polling from SCADA systems to field RTUs in coordination with Field Technicians.
• Manage real-time database implementation, historical database data interfaces, and report generation.
• Program wireless modems, specifically Sierra Wireless and Digi hardware.
• Document all system changes and manage the required approval processes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in SCADA and PLC systems within the utility or gas industry.
• Expertise in AVEVA Enterprise SCADA (formerly OASyS DNA).
• Proficiency with RTU/PLC protocols including Modbus, DNP3, and BSAP.
• Hands-on experience with HMI development and real-time database implementation.
• Ability to write SQL queries and simple scripts.
• Experience with gas measurement and metering systems.

Preferred Skills

• Proven ability to work independently and exercise judgment in small team environments.
