Description

You will design, install, and optimize server environments and cloud-based solutions to ensure high availability for business applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect infrastructure and develop implementation strategies to meet virtualization capacity needs.
• Lead the design, review, and capacity planning for new services, applications, and hardware.
• Manage server upgrades, software patches, and maintenance fixes in coordination with application teams.
• Execute disaster recovery and business continuity planning, including server backups and recovery procedures.
• Monitor system performance, manage file system configurations, and provide web administration support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure administration.
• Expertise in VMware and ESX cluster management.
• Proven experience migrating clusters.
• Ability to develop shell scripts for automation.
• Experience with server backup, recovery, and disaster recovery implementation.
• Knowledge of web server functions, including logging and metrics stability.
• Experience performing capacity planning and infrastructure architecture.
