Description

Provision, tune, and automate systems within a large-scale enterprise environment, managing compute, storage, and data protection for web and mobile applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural reviews and design sessions with development, QA, and product teams.
• Automate deployments and maintain standard operating procedures for server maintenance.
• Diagnose server malfunctions, remediate security vulnerabilities, and manage backup operations using Rubrik.
• Provide operational support for user accounts, data security, and regular system reporting.
• Manage x86 hardware technology and storage/server solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Expertise in Microsoft Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong knowledge of VMware, NSX, and Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
• Hands-on experience with clustering technologies and resilient infrastructure design.
• Proficiency with CMDB systems such as ServiceNow.
• A+ Certification or equivalent.
• Ability to travel for shipboard and dry dock requirements.
• Availability for global on-call physical server support.

Preferred Skills

• Automation experience using Ansible or Python.
• Containerization experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Active Directory Group Policy expertise.
