Description

You own and manage large-scale hybrid infrastructure, overseeing 100+ Hyper-V virtual servers and Azure cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain datacenter platforms, including Hyper-V, VMware clusters, storage, and network infrastructure.
• Lead on-prem to cloud migrations, disaster recovery planning, and hybrid cloud solution implementations.
• Serve as the Tier III escalation point for complex systems issues, providing expert-level troubleshooting and resolution.
• Monitor system health, capacity, and performance, developing KPIs and forecasts to support growth.
• Partner with security and governance teams to harden systems and maintain compliance with ISO and client security requirements.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, datacenter operations, or cloud administration.
• Proven hands-on expertise managing large-scale Hyper-V environments (100+ virtual servers) using SCVMM.
• Strong Azure infrastructure experience, including designing and operating hybrid on-prem and cloud environments.
• Experience with VMware clusters and enterprise virtualization architectures.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Familiarity with ISO compliance standards and security hardening practices.
