Description

You will lead the design, testing, and verification of complex aerospace electronics and motor control systems in Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and testing of digital and analog closed-loop motor control systems.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines to define high-level functional requirements and subsystem specifications.
• Develop and execute system-level verification testing to ensure compliance with certification requirements.
• Perform analysis across the full product lifecycle, including concept, design, modeling, test, and certification.
• Manage work processes, risk management tools, and technical planning for system integration and validation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline.
• Proficiency with MATLAB and Simulink for control laws and modeling.
• Experience with requirements capture and management.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and software.
• Knowledge of aircraft-related industry standards including ARP-4754A, DO-254, and DO-178C.
• Experience with real-time, embedded systems and processing.

• Ability to work independently and manage complex, ambiguous technical tasks.
