Description

You will provide pre-sales technical support and strategic advisory for Versa Networks' SASE and SD-WAN solutions to enterprise customers and partners in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product evaluations, demonstrations, and hands-on tests for proof-of-concept setups.
• Establish trusted advisory relationships with CIOs and CISOs to drive adoption of secure SD-WAN and cloud security solutions.
• Design and validate network architectures, including MPLS, VPNs, and SASE frameworks.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs and provide market feedback to product management.
• Author whitepapers and knowledge base articles for customer and partner enablement.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience planning, designing, or operating service provider or large enterprise WAN/LAN networks.
• In-depth understanding of TCP/IP protocol stack, BGP, OSPF, QoS, NAT, and Multicast.
• Knowledge of cloud security solutions including FWaaS, DLP, CASB, RBI, and malware prevention.
• Proficiency with networking technologies such as proxies, SSL/TLS, VPNs, Active Directory, SAML, and LDAP.
• Experience in architecting or managing large-scale, high-performing enterprise networking and security solutions.
• Fluent in German (written and verbal).
• Linux administration experience.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with public and private cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Openstack, VMware).
• Shell or Python scripting capabilities.
• Knowledge of best practice architectures for SaaS applications.
