Description

You will own the design and development of complex control systems for aircraft applications, ensuring strict compliance with certification requirements. You will decompose product and process requirements to support development plans, while generating and reviewing technical documentation including proposals, reports, and procedures. Your work will directly influence schedule adherence, cost management, and quality assurance for essential and critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop system architectures and components that meet customer specifications and industry standards.
• Decompose and define product requirements to support system development and certification compliance.
• Generate technical reports, proposals, and procedures to satisfy program and quality requirements.
• Plan, estimate, and prioritize work activities to align with project schedules and budgets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering for aerospace or safety-critical domains.
• Deep knowledge of ARP4754 for system development processes.
• Familiarity with DO-178 (Software), DO-254 (Hardware), and DO-160 (Environmental) standards.
• Proficiency in interpreting and writing system requirements, architectures, and designs.
• Experience with requirements management, validation, and verification (V&V).
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and system integration principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience participating in certification compliance activities for aircraft applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical presentations and reports.
