Description

You will own system engineering responsibilities across Linux, cloud, and storage platforms.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.
• Troubleshoot system failures and restore services to operational status.
• Administer Splunk infrastructure, including indexers, search-heads, and forwarders.
• Configure and troubleshoot CIFS and NFS shares on NetApp storage.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support existing operations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant systems engineering experience.
• Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Proficiency with AWS services, specifically EC2 and S3.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and Terraform for automation.
• Familiarity with Splunk infrastructure administration.
• Experience with server authentication using Centrify and Kerberos.
• Experience with NetApp storage administration, including SnapVault and SnapMirror.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to multitask and solve complex technical problems.
