Description

Lead the design and development of complex Tableau dashboards and backend data sourcing solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced visualizations using LoD expressions, table calculations, and drill-down capabilities.
• Optimize performance for Tableau workbooks, dashboards, data sources, and underlying queries to resolve bottlenecks.
• Develop complex SQL queries using window functions for efficient data manipulation and extraction.
• Migrate Tableau content across environments and embed dashboards into existing web applications.
• Manage and produce reports in various formats including CSV, XML, HTML, XLSX, and PDF.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of professional experience in data and analytics environments.
• Minimum 8 years focused on Tableau design and development.
• Deep understanding of Tableau internal architecture and security frameworks.
• Mastery of SQL, specifically for crafting highly efficient queries and working with data warehousing principles.
• Hands-on experience with advanced Tableau concepts such as parameter usage, sheet swapping, and top N records.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and enhance performance in both Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• Proficiency handling XML, HTML, XLSX, and PDF file formats.
• Tableau certifications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Tableau Server administration and security frameworks.
