Description

You will design, build, and deliver data visualization solutions as a hands-on Tableau developer and subject matter expert.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Tableau dashboards and reports using AWS, DB2, and SQL data sources.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with users and management to document functional and UI/UX needs.
• Analyze data structures to identify patterns and provide actionable business insights.
• Collaborate with developers to design data models and ETL processes.
• Mentor and train staff on Tableau usage and best practices across the enterprise.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of intensive Tableau design and development experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in the IT industry.
• Proficiency with SQL and DB2.
• Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing lifecycles, including star schemas and data marts.
• Strong semantic design and data modeling skills.
• Deep knowledge of business intelligence tools, architectures, and complex system design.
• Proven ability to build prototypes for demonstration to senior leaders and business partners.
• Experience working with AWS data sources.
• Ability to interpret functional needs into technical visualization requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Tableau Prep, DataStage, or Informatica.
