Description

Lead the development and maintenance of complex Tableau reporting solutions and ETL pipelines for legacy and modern systems. Own the full SDLC for data architecture, integration, and reporting deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced Tableau reports, including dynamic grouping, drill-downs, and on-demand sub-reports.
• Build and optimize SSIS packages for ETL/ELT processes, including FTP/SFTP file transfers and data cleansing.
• Write and maintain complex T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers for SQL Server and DB2 databases.
• Collaborate with System Integrators to verify deliverables, manage knowledge transfer, and support ongoing module maintenance.
• Define data acquisition strategies, resolve discrepancies, and validate data flows through rigorous testing and reconciliation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on data engineering and reporting.
• Expertise in Tableau Server and SharePoint Report Server for report deployment and management.
• Strong proficiency in T-SQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with SSIS for building robust ETL solutions and data migration strategies.
• Proven ability to work with DB2 and SQL Server databases in heterogeneous environments.
• Experience designing data marts, logical/physical models, and data dictionaries.
• Familiarity with SOA integrations and near-real-time data solution patterns.
• Ability to participate in all SDLC phases, from requirements gathering to documentation and troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SACWIS/CCWIS systems or similar legacy-to-modern platform migrations.
• Strong analytical skills for abstract thinking and problem-solving in complex data architectures.
