Description

You will manage and optimize a multi-tier Tableau infrastructure across Windows and Linux environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute platform performance tests and hardware/software sizing.
• Administer multi-node Tableau Server installations and migrate single-node configurations.
• Configure server security using SSO, Kerberos, Active Directory, SAML, and SSL.
• Manage Tableau sites, including user groups, workbooks, projects, and data connections.
• Develop technical architecture documentation, system designs, and performance test results.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Tableau Server administration.
• Proven experience with Tableau Cloud migrations and server upgrades.
• Hands-on expertise with TABCMD, TABADMIN, and TSM commands.
• Deep knowledge of Tableau repository management.
• Experience configuring authentication via SAML, SSL, and Active Directory.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments.
• Experience designing and developing subnets.
• Working knowledge of Networking, Wireless Protocols, and Windows client OS.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to manage large-scale user bases.
