Description

You will lead data engineering efforts and system migrations to build new organizational capabilities in Omaha, NE.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple simultaneous projects and meet strict delivery deadlines.
• Build and maintain Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and optimized queries.
• Execute system migrations and drive data engineering improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on ideas and pivot based on testing.
• Apply secure coding practices within CI/CD and DevSecOps workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering and ETL development.
• Expertise with Talend or other leading ETL tools.
• Hands-on experience with Data Lake and Data Warehouse architecture.
• Proficiency with Oracle, Hadoop, Impala, and Hive.
• Experience implementing CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Knowledge of Microservices, containers, API Gateways, and event-driven architecture.
• Understanding of SOLID principles and Twelve-Factor App methodology.
• Experience with AWS, Snowflake, or Pivotal cloud environments.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Power BI, data science, and machine learning workflows.
