Description

You will drive data governance operationalization and strategy planning for your assigned business unit.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Implement data governance workstreams including metadata management, data quality, and information lifecycle management.
• Define and approve data attribute definitions, allowable values, and calculation logic.
• Partner with Technical Data Stewards to perform root cause analysis and resolve data issues.
• Monitor performance metrics to identify gaps and implement changes for risk mitigation.
• Manage data onboarding through change management engagement and mentor junior staff.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in functional and technical data environments.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Big Data technologies such as Databricks.
• Experience with system administration involving Azure, Microsoft, and Power BI.
• Proven experience with data projects including data migration, warehousing, and reporting.
• Familiarity with data dictionary, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.
• Ability to manage technical data steward responsibilities for specific data domains.
• Strong fundamentals in analytics, data integration, and visualization.

Preferred Skills

• In-depth knowledge of Banking, Finance, or Investment industry terminology and processes.
• Experience in project management and understanding of data governance industry best practices.
