JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Senior Tech Field Engineer / Deskside Support professional to provide onsite technical support for a large and complex client environment. The individual will install, repair, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software systems while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will take ownership of onsite service activities, resolve technical issues using advanced troubleshooting skills, and collaborate with technical teams to deliver timely and effective support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide full-scope Field Engineering and Deskside Support for assigned clients.
• Take complete ownership of onsite service activities.
• Install, repair, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software.
• Perform advanced-level maintenance and low-complexity installation activities.
• Support Mac/macOS and Windows 10/11 environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and related technical issues.
• Use advanced technical tools and knowledge to diagnose and resolve client problems.
• Provide technical feedback regarding equipment, systems, and processes.
• Identify and resolve recurring or systemic technical issues.
• Proactively assist other team members by providing technical expertise and support.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and contribute to service metrics reporting.
• Monitor technical and process issues and communicate recommendations for improvement to management.
• Schedule service activities and complete required administrative tasks.
• Work directly with customers to ensure satisfaction and provide guidance on product functionality.
• Ensure systems operate as designed and are maintained or upgraded according to requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification and/or Associate Degree may be required.
• Approximately 2–4 years of relevant experience in Field Engineering, Deskside Support, or a related technical support environment.
• Professional experience supporting Mac/macOS.
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11.
• Experience with macOS Ventura, Monterey, and Sonoma.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently at customer locations.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in an onsite environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• CompTIA A+ certification.
• Experience supporting enterprise users and large/complex client environments.
• Experience performing hardware installations, repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of both Mac and Windows platforms
