Description

Lead software development efforts with a primary focus on API and services development.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Manage data persistence and complex queries using PL/SQL.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka.
• Oversee API Gateway configurations, such as Apigee.
• Multitask across multiple active projects to meet delivery timelines.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Java 8, 11, or 17.
• Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Kafka for event-driven messaging.
• PL/SQL for data persistence and complex queries.
• Cloud and orchestration tools including AWS, OpenShift, or Kubernetes.
• Data formats including JSON, XML, YAML, XSD, XSLT, and XPath.
• Messaging protocols such as IBM MQ or JMS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within the finance domain.
