Description

Analyze and document business rules embedded in legacy COBOL and CISC mainframe code to facilitate system conversion. You will deconstruct complex legacy logic and translate findings into technical documentation for system integrators.

Responsibilities

• Deconstruct complex legacy code to uncover underlying business rules and logic.
• Translate findings from COBOL and CISC systems into comprehensive technical documentation.
• Provide documentation used by system integrators to design and execute data conversion to modern platforms.
• Contribute to the design process for system conversion from legacy environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical analysis or similar roles.
• In-depth proficiency in COBOL to read and analyze legacy code.
• Strong understanding of Complex Instruction Set Computing (CISC) principles and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with mainframe systems and their operational environments.
• Proven ability to document complex system logic for external integrators.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for deconstructing legacy logic.
• Any Graduate degree.
