Lead technical design and architectural direction for the OMS platform, ensuring scalability and performance across all software functions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and quality standards for onsite and offshore engineering teams.
• Resolve scalability and performance issues across all software functions.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Sales, and Technology teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive the implementation of unit test-driven frameworks and well-documented code.
• Contribute to the long-term technology roadmap and optimize agile development processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Expertise in Java 1.8, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and Spring-data layers.
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS design and MongoDB NoSQL proficiency.
• Deep knowledge of asynchronous messaging via ActiveMQ, JMS, MQTT, or AMQP.
• Practical experience with Apache Camel and EIP design patterns.
• Proficiency in Web Services and security using SOAP and WS-Security.
• Experience with Docker, containerization, and Jenkins pipeline deployment using Groovy.
• Knowledge of deployment automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
• Strong understanding of Agile software development practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microservices architectures and use cases.
• Frontend experience with AngularJS, JSP, Jasmine, or Protractor.
• Knowledge of Telecom industry processes, specifically Order Management Systems and number porting.
