Description

You will manage large-scale Data Lake and Data Lakehouse projects, driving execution through structured, metric-driven processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex IT initiatives using MS Project for schedules, milestones, and dependencies.
• Track daily tasks and standups in JIRA to maintain project velocity.
• Create architecture diagrams and executive visuals using Visio.
• Present status reports to CIOs and senior stakeholders via PowerPoint.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, architecture standards, and information systems security.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of progressive Technical Project Management experience.
• 4+ years leading large or complex IT initiatives.
• Primary responsibility for Data Lake and Data Lakehouse project delivery.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Mainframe data integration, and Virtual ODS implementations.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data architecture, and information systems security.
• Proven track record delivering projects within State or Government environments.
• Expertise running highly structured, metric-driven projects rather than Agile-focused workflows.
• Proficiency in MS Project, JIRA, Visio, PowerPoint, and MS Office Suite.

Preferred Skills

• Experience presenting executive-level status reports to CIOs and sponsors.
