You will bridge development and product strategy, leveraging a strong Java engineering background to lead technical product initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define product requirements and roadmaps for distributed systems built on Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on system design, ensuring alignment with performance and resiliency goals.
• Drive deployment strategies within Kubernetes and OpenShift environments.
• Oversee database architecture decisions, specifically focusing on Cassandra data models.
• Translate complex technical constraints into clear product deliverables for stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development, with a transition into product ownership.
• Deep expertise in Java development and Spring Boot framework.
• Proven experience in designing and managing distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of system design principles and production resiliency.
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration, specifically Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Proficiency in database technologies, with preferred knowledge of Cassandra.
• Ability to optimize system performance in production environments.
