Key Responsibilities

• Manage Linux-based systems and servers for mission-critical or SaaS platforms.
• Maintain high availability (uptime SLAs) and system reliability across production environments.
• Handle infrastructure and network administration, including performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Implement automation for deployments, monitoring, and maintenance (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, or scripts).
• Work in hybrid setups (data center + AWS/Azure/GCP) with smooth integration and failover planning.
• Apply security hardening, access control, and compliance best practices.
• Manage and optimize databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB) for performance and availability.
• Use containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) for service deployments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with global teams, troubleshoot issues, and ensure production stability.

Required Skills

• Strong Linux/Unix Administration background (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, or similar).
• Good understanding of networking (DNS, routing, VPN, firewalls).
• Hands-on with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiar with database tuning and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL).
• Solid experience in system security, patching, and performance tuning.
